HOME IMPROVEMENT

with Bare Bones Demolition

There’s no question that home improvement can not only increase the value of your home, but generate a profit for you as an income property.

We’ve interviewed Bare Bones Demolition (a well-known demolition company in Toronto) to get their expertise on the matter. Here’s what they had to say:

Bare Bones Demolition does both Residential and Commercial demolition work across the GTA and other parts of Ontario as the first step of home improvement.

We help businesses and homeowners reinvent, expand, and update their space by beginning the renovation process with a clean slate/space.

We truly enjoy helping many homeowners update their outdated homes after their kids have left the house, have new additions to the family or they are just wanting to create a backyard oasis

Our favourite part of doing demolition work is helping businesses and homeowners reconstruct an area to a clean space where they can reinvent it to their liking. We like being a part of the home improvement vision that they have, which will create many memories for them.

A home owner can prepare for demolition by asking as many questions about the process and work that is to be done that they feel comfortable leaving their business and home in our hands. Our trained workers should be trusted to working to create a clean, fresh space where your renovation process can begin.

It is suggested that the homeowner not be there for the demolition for safety reasons and to insure all parties feel comfortable in the work that is being done. If it is necessary, yes we can accommodate if it’s absolutely possible but again it is not recommended.

Demolition is very popular because many people are wanting to create their forever homes and many of them are needing home improvement either for upgrades or design aspects. A lot of the older homes don’t meet City regulations and are outdated so people are just wanting to start from scratch, creating their OWN home/space. Commercial demolition is the same as many businesses are wanting to reconfigure floor plans.

Home improvement starts with renovation. Renovating a home or business can add value to your property on the sheer fact that it will increase in market value. It will be less work for the next owners and can even be used to create a second income as a rental property. We have comparable pricing so we help keep your upgrading costs low.

You should hire a demolition contractor instead of doing it yourself because we are trained to properly and safely remove plumbing, drywall, insulation, etc. The last thing you want is to spend thousands on a busted pipe because you tried to DIY something out of your scope of knowledge.

If we came across asbestos we would inform you first. It can be very hazardous so we encourage you to not be around for the removal as to reduce any potential health issues. We have trained professionals that are able to carefully remove the affected area(s).

We are centrally located in Toronto but do work in the GTA, Burlington/Hamilton, Brantford and elsewhere within Ontario.

A homeowner can get started with their demolition project by initially contacting us to set up a meeting and walk through of the space you are wanting to renovate. We can sit down and discuss all the ideas and vision you have for your space so that we can address any and all of your concerns right from the beginning.

In the early 1900’s population grew in Hamilton with the attracting claim, Hamilton was home to the cheapest hydro power in the entire world. thanks to Sir John Morison Gibson, a Canadian politician of the tenthLieutenant Governor of Ontario.

By 1914 the population had doubled with the development of the steel plants Stelco in 1910 and Dofasco in 1912, and the American manufacturing companies Proctor & Gamble in 1914 and Beech Nut Packing Company in 1922.

It wasn’t until 1930 that McMaster University moved from Toronto to Hamilton.
